Just Magnolia monthly challenge - Distressing

Afternoon all, hope you are all enjoying your weekend, this week on Just Magnolia there is a tutorial by Christine Dark (sketching Stamper) which is fabulous, her work is amazing.....i dont do distressing but thought i would give it a go and i really enjoyed it BUT it took me HOURS as i hand stitched around the edges with embroidery thread,i just adore this new stamp from magnolia she is so cute and could be used not just for Christmas....i used my metal ruler to distress the edges of the paper and then went over them with antique linen distress ink and i also used distress inks to colour the image, papers are mme,i didnt have and ponsettias so just used primas instead and put a flat backed pearl in the centre, ribbon and lace are from my stash...then to finish off i added stickles around the edges thought this would make it look a little more chrismasy.....hope ihavnt went a little OTT but think im happy with the result..thankyou all for looking and hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend

love n hugs
