No card today,havnt had the chance as my little one hasnt been well and weve been back and forth to the hospital with him,fingers crossed he is on the mend now tho...gonna try and get a card made tonight tho as there are some challenges out there that i want to do.

Just Magnolia monthly challenge - Distressing

Afternoon all,hope you are all enjoying your weekend,this week on Just Magnolia there is a tutorial by Christine Dark (sketching Stamper) which is fabulous,her work is amazing.....i dont do distressing but thought i would give it a go and i really enjoyed it BUT it took me HOURS as i hand stitched around the edges with embroidery thread,i just adore this new stamp from magnolia she is so cute and could be used not just for Christmas....i used my metal ruler to distress the edges of the paper and then went over them with antique linen distress ink and i also used distress inks to colour the image,papers are mme,i didnt have and ponsettias so just used primas instead and put a flat backed pearl in the centre,ribbon and lace are from my stash...then to finish off i added stickles around the edges thought this would make it look a little more chrismasy.....hope ihavnt went a little OTT but think im happy with the result..thankyou all for looking and hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend

papercraft weekly challenge

how excited was i yesterday when my new magnolias landed on my doorstep,i couldnt wait to get them inked up,and boy did i fall in love with this santa image,isnt he the cutest,cuddliest looking santa ever!?!
I found a fab sketch on this weeks papercraft weekly challenge that suited him perfectly so had to make it a card for it...

a soonfull of sugar

Evening all,
This week over at a spoonfull of sugar its a fabulous sketch,and i just had to use one of my winter woj stamp club stamps think this one is my favourite,ive coloured her with my usual distress inks,papers are a mix of k&co and mme (i think) lol, tulle and white fabric snowflake are from tabbycrafts and the acetate snowflake i found hidden away, in amongest my stash and covered it with twinklets,sentiment stamp is from my stash also,hope you like it and thanks again for looking and leaving such lovely comments

mo's digital challenge blog

Good Morning Everyone,
Heres my entry into this weeks challenge at Mo's Digital,this week you had to make a card which wasnt a normal square card,so i had a go and made an easel card,must say it wasnt as hard as it looked and i really enjoyed making it,image is coloured with distress inks and papers are a download but cant remember were i got them from (ooopz soz),i also used a large paper rose wich i got from Tabbycrafts,MS frond branch,MS doily lace ,purple fabric flowers and ribbon from my stash,sentiment stamp is from hotp,hope you like my card and thankyou for visiting my blog,enjoy the rest of your day

Just Magnolia & Simon says Challenge Blog

Well look at me,posting 2 days in a row lol,hope you are all well,so this time my card is for Just Magnolia(which is a sketch)& Simon says challenge(sparkle),ive used distress inks to colour tilda and added some snow writer and glitter to her hat and gloves,papers are MME and blue co-ordinations cardstock,snowflakes embossing folder distressed with nail file,snowflakes are punched with twinklets put on them,i really love the effect the give and they are nice and chunky,brads,pearls,ribbons and sentiment are all from my stash.

Mo's challenge blog

Evening All,
Hope you are all keeping well,so here is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Mo,s challenge blog,i'm sooo hoping ive got it in on time and i have to apologise for the bad foto but i have just taken it and as you can imagine the light is awful so after about 20 pics this 1 is the best of the bunch lol
ive used mo's image called 'Patience' which just reminds me of my daughter and our kitten to a tee and i have made a pillow box door hanger which i got the template for on papercraft planet in the templates section, ive used a mix of MME and Basic Grey papers,MS doily punch,nesties oval and circle,distress inks to colour image and ribbon from my stash.....Hope you like it as i really enjoyed making it and i soo loved coloureing the image....
