YEAH!!!! A card at last!!

Well i managed to finally get a card made BUT didnt get it in on time to the Just Magnolia challenge,i couldnt find my usb connection for my camera DOH!! Finally fpund it this morning tho which is typical,i hope i never have to move house again lol its a nightmare trying to find everything again lol

ive used one of my new magnolias that i got just before i moved house so hadnt had the chance to get her inked up ive used distress inks to colour her,pink paper is K&Co punches are martha stewart and used nesties label diecut which was sent to me seed beads on butterfly,ribbon,rub-on and sticles are are all from my stash...
Hope you like my card,im not happy with it at all think im out of practice but at least ive got myself crafting again..i will try my best to have another one for tomorrow...enjoy your day wherever you are

Hi Everyone,
I'm back,has anyone missed me lol??

So sorry for not being around for the past month and a half,but i have been busy moving house and havnt had any internet connection until yesterday,so i have missed SOOOOO much and have a lot of catching up to do,so im counting all of you to let me know what i have missed and what fabulous new crafty goodness have been realeasd in my absense

i hope to get my craft stuff sorted soon so i can get back making cards as i have really missed making them

Just Magnolia

oooooooooooooppppppppzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!

Ive missed the deadline,but thought i would just put it on my blog anyway,it was ment to be for this weeks just magnolia challenge which was a sketch by Tab,ive used MME papers which im soo in love with at the moment and ive coloured tilda with distress inks and and added some beaded string stuff (dont know the name for it soz lol) as the string on the balloons,ive distressed the edges a little so that it would stand out a little more,used martha stewart punch and lace is from my stash


Soz about the photo but i have only just taken the pic and its dark

the sugar bowl challenge

Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all having a great weekend,heres my entry into this weeks sugar bowl challenge which was a sketch with the added extra of bow/and or ribbon,ive coloured my image with disress inks and went round the edge with spiced marmalade,think i went a bit over the top with it tho,but sure,ive also used papers again from the bloom & grow paper pack by my minds eye,i soo love them,some are embossed and some are double sided which is fantastic,ribbon,lace and button are from my stash.Hope you like it..

A Spoonful of Sugar

Heres my entry into this weeks a spoonful of sugar which this week is a fabulous sketch,ive used one of my new high hopes stamps called hay ride dont the look like they are having so much fun,ive also use papers from the new 6 by 6 paper pack from my minds eye called bloom & grow arnt they lovely.. the pink paper is a download and orange is from my stash along with the roses and gems..ive used the martha stewart doily lace,frond branch and butterfly puunches and flowers are papermania and last of all i coloured the image with my distress inks

sketch saturday challenge card

hope everyone is having a lovely day wherever you are,it is sunny here today which is fab cuz it means the kids can get out to play,so a little peace for me lol

well heres my entry for this weeks sketch saturday,i decided to make a christmas card as i got this beautiful new stamp from whipper snapper and couldnt wait to ink it up,it is from there new autumn/winter collection,ive used cardstock, brads,and ribbon all from my stash,i have also used a snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder and went over it with a nail file to bring up the snowflakes so you can see them better,sentiment is used with a ribbon i got tied round a xmas present and i mounted it onto card and 3d foamed it,image is coloured with distress inks and ive added some stickles to it,the tiny snowflakes i punched out with some glitter board...

Just Magnolia - Mina's Sketch

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all well,soz for being a bad blogger lately,i havnt even been making any cards,but had to make an effort and do this card for Just Magnolia as this week it is a sketch by my fabulous friend Mina,dont think she would have forgiven me if i hadnt lol she has been giving off to me for not making any cards.

Well ive used tilda with lilics and coloured her with distress inks,the papers are from my stash along with all the other bits n bobs and i used my new cuttlebug embossing folder - swiss dots, the larger flowers i got from the early learning centre(arnt they lovely).

Check back with me tomorrow as i have another card which ive made using one of my new whipper snapper stamps from their new autumn/winter range.

Just Magnolia Tutorial challenge

Heres my entry into the Just Magnolia Tutorial challenge which is distressing and kim has made a fantasic tutorial so make sure you check it out and all the fantastic DT cards.

Tilda with Roses - coloured with distress inks,tea dye used to distress
Papers - summertime designs (downloaded) tea dye distress ink used to distress edges
flowers and ribbon are from my stash and again i have used tea dye to give them a distressed look
frond branch - martha stewart punch and doily lace - martha stewart punch

Ive used my metal ruler to distress around the edges of the paper and image before using the distress ink and used a nail file to distress the branches and the doily lace border before using ink.

Hope this makes sense as im hopeless at trying to explain things lol
i must remember to put it on the site this time as i forgot to upload my just magnolia on thursday night in the site ooooooppppppzzzz lol

well ive coloured tilda with distress inks and used downloaded papers from summertime designs,nesties,flowers,ribbon and sentiment from my stash,also used my new martha stewart boder punch and my new frond branch ms punch also,im sooo in love with punches at the mo and he butterfly was sent in with my order from ''dies to die for'' such a nice gesture

Just Magnolia Monthly Challenge

well this is a first for me as ive never tryed to alter anything as have always played safe and just made cards lol
So i thought that i would give Just Magnolias monthly challenge a go,decided that i would keep it simple,ive made a pen holder for my whispers and marvey pens.
Ive used my minds eye paper,tilda image is coloured with my distress inks and ive punched some flowers out and added brads and gems in the centres,dragonfly brads,gems,pearls and lace are all from my stash,hope you like what ive done as im actually pleased with what ive done and will have to try it again

p.s ooopz forgot to say that i used my sons box that his meds come in and ripped the top off and then opened the box up and covered it with the paper and dry embossed on the folds x

Just Magnolia and Sketch Saturday

hi Everyone,
Still cant get myself motivated to get cards done at the moment but did mange to make 1 last night as im really missing doing my challenge cards,this one ive made is for Just Magnolia and sketch saturday,ive used tilda butterfly stamp which i think is my fav at the moment and im really pleased with my colouring in theis one,ive also used sentiment stamp from the greeting farm,papers i found lying at the bottom of my paper drawer and just loved the colours on them don know were they from tho,flowers,ladybirds and flowers are all from my stash and i added green sead beads at the end of tildas antennas

hope you like what ive done and hopefully i will get myself in gear and get some more challenge cards made this week

hi all this my 2nd post today so make sure and check below to see the card i made for simon says,this one is for this weeks sketch saturday ive used one of my new miss anya stamps,i just love them im really getting into these greeting farm stamps and have gathered up a few already,ive used a downlaoded paper pack from sweet shoppe designs and thought it was just perfect to go with this stamp ive coloured image with distress inks and have used fiskers threading water punch,senitmnet is from greeting farm also,ive used so anitas 3 glaze on the sunglasses and ice lolly.

Well thought i would give simon says stamps challenge a go and this week you had to make a card using pink and brown so this is what i came up with,
Ive used one of my new Anya stamps and coloured her with distress inks and added some stickles to the wings,skirt and the puches in her hair,pairs ive used are a mix of basic grey and one ive had for ages that id downloaded and cant remember were from tho,sentiment is tim holtz,flowers are prima and brads and ribbon are from my stash.

wow wow wow i won last weeks sketch saturday,how lucky am i,it was $25 to spend on simon says stamps online shop WELL did i have fun or did i have fun looking threw all the fabulous goodies that that they have in their shop i didnt know what to choose,but i did in the end lol and thankyou to heidi for a fab prize and quick responses to my emails
