Heres my 1st in a long time and its my DT card for this fortnights challenge for Oldie But A Goodie,this week its Tracys turn to choose our theme which is - Say it with Flowers, and i love using my roses and flower DPs,we have a fabulous prize again this week again so make sure and check out the challenge blog and see it and also the amazing work from the rst of the DT

Heres what ive used for my card,

Tilda image coloured with distress inks

papers are a mix of K&Co and Basic grey

sentiment is Whimsey

all the other bits n bobs are from my stash

hope you like what i have come up with and dont forget to be eligable for the prize and top 3 you must use a stamped image at least 6mths old and NO DIGITAL images please

Oldie But A Goodie challenge no 15 - colour combo - Brown,Pink & Brown

Morning Everyone,well its time for another challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie and this week its my turn to set te theme so i thought i would choose a colour combo,so i chose Brown,Pink and Blue,dunno know why tho as its not a colour combo i would usually use,so it was a challenge this week for me too lol heres what i come up with...

Papers are MME-Penny Lane Paper Stack,i love these papers they are lush and soo glittery.Sentiument is by whimsy,flowers and pearls are from my stash and of courseTilda is coloured with distress inksand is one of the 1st tildas i ever purshased and is also one of my many favs lol hope you like what i have done and i look forward to seeing what you all come up with and please check out the other DT members fabulous creations for great inspiration and please remember that you must use a STAMPED IMAGE AT LEAST 6MTHS OLD as we are STILL getting loads of enteries using digiimages or newer stamps,remember to stop by the blog and check out our sponsor for this week

Hi Everyone,heres a card i made awhile ago but never got round to showing you,i think it was actually ment for a past challenge but i mised the deadline,now that wouldnt be like me now would it lol Papers are Prima,Tilda is coloured with distress inks,sentiment i think is whimsy,flowers are from wild orchid crafts as are the pearls,ive also used the frond branch punch by Martha Stewart,also ive used nesties for the circle and scalloped circle....Im going to enter it into this weeks

I have used a LOTV stamp coloured with distress inks,i have embossed the blue card stock using my Bigshot with a cuttlebug embossing folder,cardstock and buttons are all from my stash,as is the sentiment,ribbon is recycled,it was wrapped round pjamas,hope you like what i have done,its quite a plain card for me,not sure about this less is more lol......make sure and go check out the fabulous creation from the DT and GDT this week..

woo hoo the sun is shinning,

Morning Everyone,the sun is shinning here today,havnt been outside yet tho so its more than likely still cold,hope not tho as im off to Belfast today with my eldest for her pre-op assessment so fingers crossed she gets a date for her op! Did you all have a good weekend,did you do anything nice?

Heres a card i made must be 2wks ago now,but havnt got round to posting,the papers were a freebie i got in a magazine and they are by Pink Petticoat,arent they lovely,the horse is a digi image by whimsy called Dance of Love which i got here ,i thought i would have trouble colouring it as i dont do animals very often but i really enjoyed colouring it and i think i didnt do too bad a job,what you think?The horses mane and tail could be a little better tho i think,the ribbon and felt scroll is from my stash as are the flowers.

Teddy Bo Challenge #4 - Duck Egg Blue and Chocolate

Afternoon All,

Hope you are all well,theres a bug in our house grrrrrr,Zara was up through the night vomiting so mummy is tired today and trying to relax but it aint happening lol

I have totally fell in love with this gorgeous teddys arnt they just the cutest and they are fabulous to color too,ive coloured her with distress inks and added some stickles to her wings and wand,papers are all from my stash and were in a box of scraps and odds n ends so i havnt a clue who the are by soz,but thought they would be perfect for The Teddy Bo Challenge which this week is to use Duck Egg Blue and Chocolate,what a gorgeous colour combo dont you think! Flowers and flat backed gems are also from my stash...I'm also going to enter my card into the Stamp Something Challenge which is to use flowers,there are 3 on my card so hope it counts..the sketch i have used is from this weeks Friday Sketchers which was fab to use and one i will use again and again im sure...

Evening all,the weekend is finally here at last,i thought it was never gonna get here,i hope you all have a fab weekend !!

Well here's a card I've made for Sketch Saturday using this fabulous sketch which i thought would be perfect for a male card,i must admit like alot of you i struggle with male cards and i have 2 to make for a friend so i had better get my thinking cap on lol

for my card i have used ,Basic Grey-Oliver paper pad, sentiment is from whimsy stamps bought at Bunny Zoe's as was the paper pad.

The image is a stamp i got free in a magazine,isn't it just the cutest!!!!!! and perfect for those male cards,i have coloured it with distress inks,the buttons are from my stash,hope you like what Ive done with it and hope to be back soon all being well...

Theres a new challenge over at Oldie but a goodie this week - no 11 - Fairies,Mermaids,Dragons or any other Mythical Creature

Morning Everyone,

Ive had a busy week last week as my 13yr old daughter ended up back in hospital last Tuesday evening and only got out on Saturday,this is the 3rd time in a month bless her only this time it was her Gall Bladder,the poor mite was in terrible pain and was on morphine and all sorts they did loads of tests and discovered that she has gall stones,but lucky enough an MRI scan discovered that none of the stones are in her bile duct but we have to return to see the consultant on Friday for him to discuss the removal of her gall bladder,she is only recovering too from getting her appendix removed on the 17th December....so she has yet more in front of her....

Well anyway .... its time for another challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie which has been chosen this week by the wonderful Tracy which is....

Well that's it all over for another year,thank goodness as i think I'm only getting the chance to relax now,it was very hard this being the 1st year without my younger brother Wayne,who passed away suddenly in June,i miss him so much but know he would want me to be happy and not sad all the time so i do try but its not easy....

Afternoon All,
Thankyou everyone for all you get well wishes to Chloe,she is doing much better now,just a little sore still at times and very tired...she made it out of hospital in time for Christmas,they let her out the evening before Christmas Eve,so it was a mad rush for me then to go and get everything else in for christmas as i didnt even have a turkey and some christmas presents so i was in total panic mode but got there in the end........
I hope to be back soon with some cards once things here get back to normal,unfortunatley i dont have my DT project done for tomorrows ''Oldie But A Goodie Challenge'' but as you can imagine i didnt get the chance with Chloe being in hospital all last week

Apologises!!!

Evening All,
Unfortunately my 13 year old daughter Chloe was taken into hospital Friday night and had to go for surgery to get her appendix removed,apparently they were really bad and were gangerous and perferated,so she has been really bad and is now septic,and her heart rate isnt good,but hopefully she will be ok and out for Christmas...I have nothing at all sorted for xmas and not even a card posted or nothing with being back and forth to hospital all the time so i am really sorry if you havnt recieved a card from me,i havnt even a present wrapped or nothing so i am in panic mode,i have come home tonight so i can get some rest as i am exhausted,i want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year no as i most likely wont be back on blogland until after Christmas..

Morning everyone,
So is everyone ready for the big day???? I'm definitely not lol,but whats new,I'm the most unorganized person i know,think one of my new years resolutions will have to be to try and be more organized......
Its time for another challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie and this week the fabulous Clare has chosen the theme which is - your a star (we want to see a star somewhere on your project)..On my card I've used basic grey papers,Papermania ribbon,Papermania sentiment,MS Doily Punch,star charm is from my stash which I've added paper and glitter glue too,I've also used WOJ swirls stamps around the edges of image which is wee and Christmas tree from WOJ by N.Fickel coloured with distress inks and gems added on the tree...

Cats in the Christmas Tree - Christmas thankyou

Oldie But a Goodie - Christmas Birthday

Morning Everyone,
Oh dear im only up out of bed,i told my OH to wake me at 9.30am but he let me sleep on,so now im all out of sorts as my day was planned so now im behind,aww well lol
So this week at Oldie But a Goodie its my turn to set the theme and put together a prize,ive chosen '' christmas Birthday'' and heres a pic of the prize,we have also decided to pick the winner using random org .

For my card I've used another Tilda from last years Christmas collection,coloured with distress inks and paper pieced,papers are basic grey,MS doily punch,sentiment is handwritten and pearls and ribbon are from my stash,my colouring isn't the greatest on Tilda but i didn't have time to do another so not overly happy but then are we ever when it comes to our own cards lol

Mo's Dream Team DT call

Evening Everyone,

Have you heard that Mo's Dream Team has a DT Call,now i know EVERYONE adores her images and if your like me then you cant wait to get your hands on them to print out and colour i can honestly say that there has not been an image yet that i haven't adored colouring,i have tons of images but have only recently been able to print them off due to computer and printer problems....all i can do is keep everything crossed that my work is good enough and what they are looking for as i would be thrilled too bits if i was chosen........

For my entry I've used employee #3355 and you can find him here,i have coloured him with distress inks and added Kars glitter glue to his Christmas baubles and hat,the papers are from the MME Holly By Jolly paper and accessories kit as is the sentiment tag,I've used a holly punch from my stash and two different snowflake punches also from my stash which i have layered up and covered with glitter glue i also went around all the edges of the papers with glitter too the green and red flat backed pearls i got from Wild Orchid Crafts....

Oh Dear,i started into the housework this morning once got kids sorted and said i would do a little then put my card on well! Me being me i have only just sat down and realized i had forgotten oooopppz,well better late than never i suppose,

Just Magnolia and Cute Card Thursday

Morning Everyone,
Hope you are all well,we have a sick house here,my two youngest haven't been well all weekend kealan has been running a temp and Zara has been vomiting,hope they get better soon as I'm so tired from being up with both through the night,i somehow managed to get a few cards made last night,this one is for,Just Magnolia which is a fabulous sketch and Cute Card Thursday which this week is Anything Goes,Edwin is coloured with distress inks and some Kars Glitter Glue added,papers are from the My Minds Eye Holly By Jolly Paper kit which you get fab die cut with so i used the ''The List'' die cut and the Merry Christmas ticket from it,the reindeer i got in a local craft shop a few weeks ago and in used the Tim Holt's alphabet strip - Chip Block for ''ZAC'',think that's everything lol hope you all had a better weekend than i had,thanks for popping by.

Babies 1st Christmas using Mo Manning digi for A Spoonfull of Sugar

Afternoon All,

Oh its sooo cold,i cant get no heat into me today and my poor toes are feel like they getting frost bite brrrrrrr....Just a quick post to upload this card I've made using Mo Manning digi isn't it the cutest i loved colouring it too and wanted to try and use up my Christmas papers from last year before using my new ones and thought these one would be perfect for the image as they are bright and colourful they are MME and I've also used tress,snowflakes and sentiment strips all from the die cut page with the the paperkit, I've coloured the image with distress inks and added loads of glitter here and there on the image I'm entering this card into this weeks challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar which is snow/and or snowflakes so there is a little of both on my card,hope you like what I've done and thank you for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Whiff of Joy and Sketch Saturday

Afternoon Everyone,

Well here's a challenge i haven't entered in a long long time its Whiff of Joy Challenge which is to make a Christmas card and I've also used the fabulous sketch from this weeks Sketch Saturday and i just had to colour this little fella ,isnt he just the cutest,i thought i would try and do a darker skin tone as i haven't tryed it before and think it has worked out ok,what do you think,the image is coloured using distress inks papers are????? oh my goodness i forget but think they might be MME oooopz I've had wrote the sentiment and I've added loads of Kars glitter glue to them,snowflakes are made using a Marianne Designs die and cut on glitter card,thankyou for popping by and having a looksie,i will hopefully be back tomorrow with another card which is using a mo's digital image,think my mojo has returned at long last lol x

A Spoonful of Sugar and Stamp Something

Afternoon All,
OOOOH its sooooooo cold over here and the winds through the night were awful,think the winter has well and truly set in,i will have to get the thermals out lol
Here's a card i have made for A Spoonful Of Sugar which this week is'' relish to embelish'' i just love adding beads,gems,flowers and ribbons etc to my cards its hard sometimes to stop lol I've manages to get my printer working yet again as it is soo temper-mental,so i just had to print out this digi image that i purchased a while back from tickled pink stamps,isnt she gorgeous and a dream to colour she is from the lil Lolita's ,i coloured her with distress inks and have used papers from the basic grey Pyrus paper pad which are full of lovely autumn colours,ribbons,pearls,flowers etc are all from my stash and i have also used the sketch from this weeks Stamp Something challenge which is a fab one and one which i will use again,thank you for popping by,i must go and get Kealan his lunch as he has just woken up from his nap..

Oldie But Goodie DT card,challenge #4-Distressed

Morning Everyone,
Its time for another challenge on Oldie But A Goodie and our theme this week is Distressing which has been chosen by the fabulous Fleur,we our sponsored this week by Die Cut Dreams,and Susie from Die Cut Dreams has joined us this week as a GDT,so make sure and pop over and check out the fabulous creations by the rest of the DT..
I decided i would give altering a tag a go this week and used a sentiment stamp from Catslife press and script text stamp by crafty individuals on the tag and coloured it with various distress inks and roughed up the edges then added pearl glimmer mist,i also had some white poinsettia's which i distressed with antique line and then glitzed them with antique linen stickles and added pearl buttons to the centres,lace is from my stash and last but not least Tilda from last years Christmas release is coloured with Distress inks and some stickles added,ooopz almost forgot about the ribbon lol i haven't a clue where i got it but think it off a gift i received last Christmas,hope you like what i have done,and thank you all for popping by,and don't forget to visit our challenge blog to see the rest of the DTs amazing creations...

Ive had a fabulous 2 days with my good friend Mina,we had so much fun stamping,colouring and chatting,time went by so fast, next time i will have to try and stay longer...before i went up to Mina's house my mojo had completely run off and had been away for a while but finally i think Mina has got it kick started again lol
Here's a card i made for Mo's dream teams 1 year on blog hop,their theme was Frogs,snails and puppy dog tails, i have had this digi image for must be ages and haven't gotten round to using it yet so this gave me the perfect excuse and i bought these papers at Mina's local craft shop ''Crafters & Co'' they are Basic Grey - Max and Whiskers and they are perfect for men's or boys cards,I've also used some brown velvet ribbon but to touch and look at it,it almost seems like suede,scallop edge is one of Tim Holtz dies,sentiment and buttons i pinched from Mina's stash lol oh and i coloured the image with Distress Inks,hope everyone has a lovely weekend...don't forget to pop over and see all the fabulous creations by the Dream Team

Good Morning Everyone,

Oh Dear what a morning I've had trying to get my card on for this weeks challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie ,have had trouble with my Internet connection grrrrr,well at least I'm here now tho eventually lol...

This week the fab Debs has chosen the challenge theme which is to add a butterfly and our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish which have a fabulous selection of digital stamps and papers ,so 1 lucky winner and receive 5 digital images or 4 digital images and a paper set the choice will be yours...All the DT Were lucky to receive some fab digi papers to play with for this challenge and this is what i came up with,I've used the Robyn's fetish papers and the image is an old Whiff of Joy stamp I've had for ages which I've coloured with distress inks,border is punched with MS doily punch,sentiment is catslife press which was sent to me by Francesca (thank you again),butterfly is a Marianne D die and the flowers,gems and ribbon are from my stash,think that's it lol...

Sorry i haven't been about this past 2wks but I've been ill with the flu bug which knocked me totally off my feet and I'm still not 100% but getting there but hope to get some crafting done over the next few days so i have something to share and I've so missed doing my usual challenges,thank you for popping by and make sure you head over to our challenge blog so you can have a look at the rest of the DTs fabulous creations

Just Magnolia - Anything Goes and Papertake weekly - Sketch

Happy Sunday Everyone,
Hope you are all having a lovely day and getting plenty of crafting done,i haven't got anything crafty done today or last night so here's hoping i get something done tonight once the kids go to bed,I've made this card for Just Magnolia challenge which this week is Anything Goes and also Papertake Weekly which is a fabulous sketch,i coloured this gorgeous'' Tilda with cherries'' with distress inks and the DPs are magnolia arnt they gorgeous,border is made using doo hickey die and I've made the flowers with sizzix dies using the Tim Holtz roses technique,they arnt perfect but I'm pleased with them,the ribbon was wrapped around a pair of pj's and thought it was too nice to throw out,and lastly the sentiment is a stamp from my stash not sure who its by,thank you for popping by and having a looksie and don't forget you still have time to enter the Oldie But A Goodie challenge which is pink and girly new challenge goes up on Tuesday,enjoy the rest of your day.

Odie But A Goodie DT-challenge #2

Good Morning Everyone,

Its time again for the Oldie But A Goodie challenge, our 2nd challenge has been chosen this week by the fab Lisa and the theme is ''Pink and Girly''! I have chosen to use 2 of the 1st stamps i ever got and they are from the home and heart collection, i don't think i have even used them,now how bad is that,this is why i love being on this DT so much as it gives the chance to get out all my old neglected stamps and bring them to life again....so here is what i have used,both stamps have been paper-pieced and i have also coloured the little girl with distress inks, the ladybug paper is by basic grey-lemonade and the pink spotty one is from bobunny- persuasion kit,self adhesive flat backed gems are from wild orchid crafts,i have also used martha stewart border punch and ribbon is from my stash,i dont have a clue were the plain pink paper comes from as it was at the very bottom of my paper drawer hidden bless it lol,thank you all for taking the time to stop by and hope you can all pop over and take part in this weeks challenge and have a look at the DTs fabulous creations....

At last i have a card for a challenge and its on time woohoo lol hope you are all having a good day,not long to the weekend now,ive made this card for my nieces birthday at the end of the month and have used the fab sketch by dawny p over at Just Magnolia,love this sketch and will defo use it again,tilda is of course coloured with distress inks,papers are magnolia,ive coloured the doily with spun sugar distress ink,flwers are from wild orchid crafts,ive also added a pin which i have put different beads on it and for the sentiment i have used doodlebug alphabet rub-ons....think thats everything lol love all the pinks dont you!!

Now I have a question does any1 know where i can get my grubby little hands on the tattered floral die by tim holtz as ive searched everywhere i can think of and nowhere has it in stock or if you can think of another 6 petal flower dies out there i know ther is one by sizzix but dont know whats its called!!!! HELP PLZZZZ lol i soooo want and need these.....

Well here's my entry for Just magnolia and Friday sketchers I've tried to use crackle accents on my image BUT it didn't quite turn out how i would have hoped,think i have used too thick a layer,at least i will know if i try it again,i didn't have time to colour another image and accent it so it just had to do :-(,papers i have used are from basic grey and the heart sentiment stamp is by Cats Life Press which i did using bundled sage distress ink and then covered it in 3d gloss,ribbon flowers and gems are all from my stash,and of course the layout is using the sketch at Friday sketchers,enjoy your day and thank you all for taking the time to pop by.

Evening Ladies,

I'm gonna have to start and schedule my posts as i always have every intention of posting in the morning but by the time i do school runs and housework its time to do school runs,homework then dinner and kids bedtimes so i never get the chance lol and that means i usually miss deadlines for challenge entries,so here's hoping i get entered in time tonight..this 1 is for LOTV Challenge which this week is a fab sketch and i have been dying to get these new stamps inked up and coloured ant they sooo cute i have coloured this one with my usual distress inks and the papers are MME from last Christmas as i still haven't invested in this years yet,sentiment and spotty strip are from the die cuts sheet that i got with the paper pack and snowflakes are punched out using various punches on glitter board with green sticky back gems added to the centres,and I've added stardust stickles on the image(of course lol)

Oldie But a Goodie,our 1st challenge-NEW BEGINNINGS

Morning Everyone,

Here's my 1st DT card for the new challenge ''Oldie But a Goodie'',i thought this day was never gonna get here, time has dragged in from Francesca asked me to be on the DT lol
I have been so looking forward to the launch, we have some fab challenges and prizes,we will also be looking for a top 3 each challenge
The fab Bev Rochester agreed to be GD this week and all the DT have made some wonderful creations so you must go over to the blog and check them all out...
Our challenge this week is'' New Beginnings'' so you could have wedding,1st anniversary,baby birth,1st Christmas etc all you have do is use a stamp that has been in your stash for at least 6mths,we all have those poor neglected stamps that are dying to be inked up again... (this a fortnightly challenge)
I decided to use one of my house mouse stamps that i have had for must be 2yrs and think i have only used it once or twice,i have coloured the image with distress inks and added some 3d glaze to the bottle,papers are MME that were free with a magazine,the sentiment and verse stamps i got at a craft show must be last year i think they are by Elezybell,I've also used Martha Stewart doily punch and frond branch punch , the flowers and flat back gems are all from my stash,i hope you like what i have done and decide to come join us with the challenge..i look forward to popping by your blogs and seeing your creations,

Cute Card Thursday - material,award,1st day of school pics and a REMINDER!!

Good Afternoon,
Have to say sorry for my lack of cards last week,but kids went back to school mid-week so had to get them all sorted etc and my youngest hasn't been well and so unsettled threw the night so was soooo tired as hardly any sleep as you can imagine,he isn't too bad at the moment still burning up tho,managed to get this card made tho over the weekend for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which this week was to use material somewhere on your card,well i had fabric squares for quilting so i used them like papers and matched them up and stitched them together and i also cut the scalloped oval out with my nesties,Tilda is coloured with the usual distress inks other bits are from my stash,hope you like it as I'm pretty pleased with it....

I want to also remind you all that the Oldie But A Goodie challenge launches tomorrow so it would be great if you went and checked it out the challenge will be posted at 8am,and there will be a prize and a top 3,so a great excuse to get those neglected stamps dusted off and inked up,so also check back with tomorrow for my 1st ever DT card (I'm sooo excited lol)..

Also the lovely Lisa (crafty moments) sent me a fab award,thank you Lisa!
Ive added a few pics of my middle 2 kiddywinks on their 1st day of school and it was Zara's 1st day going off to school and Walsh went into p3,cant believe my baby girl at school and she just loves it lol

An early start for me this morning,Mr Kealan decided he didnt want to sleep,so weve been up from 7am,this is early for me as im not a morning person AT ALL lol

Morning Everyone,
What a terrible day i had yesterday,firstly my daughter zara took a bad reaction to her pre-school injections and ended up on antibiotics then busby our 7week old kitten took a siezure and had to go to vets (he is ok now tho thank goodness) then i ended up at the out of hours doctor with my son kealan who is only 2 as he went all lifeless and could hardly lift his head so he is now on another course of steriods as the say it is to do with his asthma and to top that all off im walking about like an old woman as ive done something to my back and can hardly move it so sore,so heres hoping today will be better lol
Enough of all our ailments lol heres my entry into this weeks challenge over at just magnolia (acetate) im also entering it into sketch saturday and cupcake craft challenge.....ive used this fab tilda and stamped the wings onto acetate and covered the back of it with stardust stickles and coloured the rest of her with distress inks and used wire for the antennas,papers are k&co and ive used a doily and roses which are from my stash,hope you like what ive done and hopefully i will be back with another card tomorrow which i have made using one of mo,s digital images

Afternoon All,
Well heres a card ive made for Sketch Saturday,using hanglar image which ive coloured with distress inks,papers are my minds eye which were free in with a magazineas was the sentiment,hearts are wooden covered with crackle paint and then i coloured them with distress ink - bundled sage,lace is from my stash,ohhhh and the butterly is cut out from the mme papers also,hope you like what ive done.......

thought i would let use see a few pics of the latest addition to our family,our cat Bosco which we thought was a boy had a kitten on the 26th june so you can imagine the surprise lol it brought a little bit of joy into the house as my brother passed on the 21st and busby was born on the 26th,so as she only had the 1 we thought we just had to keep it,not sure if it a boy or girl yet lol and erm i aint that good at telling as you know lol.....

Hope you are all having a lovely sunday,we are all having a lazy day today,i managed to make this card for Just Magnolia last night as i just had to ink up and colour this geshia tilda isnt she just fab and a delight to colour ive been having trouble with colouring hair at the mo cuz been out of practise but im happy with how it turned out especially as its black hair too but i have to admit i got on the phone to mina for some advice (thanks Mina ) lol i got my new tildas and papers yesterday along with a few other things i ordered from bunny zoes,and have to give credit were its due as the delivey was quick as always,i got the penny lane stack also as i seen mina make cards using it and the papers looked lovely but in real life they are even better i love all the glitter and detail on them,heres a list of what ive used to make my card:

thankyou all for your kind words and sympathy about the death of my brother,life is still hard without out him and always will be,but im trying my best to come to terms with it,if that makes sense....
well anyway here is a few cards i made before wayne passed away,but i actually made a card last night so have to get it photographed and but on as soon as i can as i ALWAYS forget and then miss the deadlines on the challenges ive made them for DOH at me lol

Just a quick post to let you all know that i wont be around on blogland for a while as last monday morning i found my younger brother passed away in my sons bed,he was only 28yrs old and the most bubbly,caring person ever,he suffered from epilepsy and sadly this is what took his life....

Hope you are all well,i made this card last week and it was for Just Magnolia a sketch by Bev but i never got round to entering it into the challenge,BUT it also fits in with this weeks challenge which is to put 2 or more magnolia images on your card so im hoping that this will still be ok to enter,heres what ive used

Stamps are frog and midsummer tilda

papers are all basic grey from the Kioshi paper pad

flowers,diecut leaves,ribbon, metal sentiment and gems are all from my stash and ive covered the roses with picket fence stickles i also distress around the oval with forest moss(i think) lol my memory is bad .

Thankyou for looking and i will TRY to have another card soon my mojo has flew away and cant find it or the motivcation to make anythng at the moment it isnt stopping me from buying tho and i think i must have at least 10 stamps and tonnes of papers i havnt inked up or used yet,how awful is that lol i think i need a kick up the backside to get me going again lol

Sorry everyone for not being around and not posting or blogging,but ive been having computer problems so havent been crafting either been buying loads tho as you do lol

Heres a card ive made for the simonsays challenge which has to have wings on it so hope my 2 punched butterflies count ive used one of the new tildas and coloured her with distress inks im loving these new colours i got them at the craft show last week when i was with mina,i spent afortune lol and it was great to catchup with mina again,the papers ive used are magnolia also and roses are from my stash ive added stickles to tildas dress and hairband and also to the flowers and ive added perfect pearls here and there also,ribbon and sentiment are from stash think thats all but im sure ive forgotten something lol

Evening All,
Heres my entry into this weeks challenge over at Just Magnolia which this week is a sketch by JayJay,fab sketch i loved working with it ,ive used basic grey papers from the sugar rush 6x6 pad,really love these papers,ive used nestie shapes and loads of stickles,EVERYWHERE lol sentiment are stickers from basic grey and roses and ribbon are from my stash,ladybug tilda is coloured with distress inks (isnt she the cutest),ive also used MS border punch,hope you like what ive done with the sketch and have all had a fab weekend..

Hi Everyone,
So sorry ive not had anything to show for awhile,ive been busy making party invites for my aunts birthday,and the kids have been keeping me busy as im on my own with them now,so its a little hectic lol,of course me being the numpty that i am,i forgot to take a pic of them Doh!!! lol

Well my best friend asked me to make 2 cards for her mums birthday which is today,and i remembered to take a few pics of them before i gave them to her lol

On the 1st one ive used various magnolia images and the template for the card is off the woj tutorial blog and is by bev,i wanted to try something a little different and loved how bevs card looked,papers are bs sugar rush and all the other bits n bobs are from my stash and images are coloured with distress inks as usual,hope you like it....

Next one ive used a LOTV coloured of course with distress inks,papers are MME,''Mum'' & ''60'' are die cut the font is ''fruit smoothie'' by sizzix...

Ive done loads of stitching around the papers and added flat backed pearls here and there and also used them on the 60..flowers,pins and beads are from my stash and ive used ms butterfly and frond branch punches also

Oh and i actually decorated the inside aswell with the same papers as on the front and added a nestie diecut and pearls....thankyou so much for looking and please let me know youve visited

Allsorts Challenge - A Sketch and DT call

Check out this fab sketch over on allsorts challenge blog i really enjoyed making my card using it and will use it again for sure,they also have a DT call on at the minute too

Ive used the free MME apers that i got in a magazine and one of the fabulous LOTV stampsisnt she the cutest,ive coloured her with the the usual distress inks and added sme stickles,buttons ribbons,gems and rose are all from my stash as is the sentiment (rub-on) the heart is wooden and covered with picket fence cracle paint then distress ink and covered with stickles,and also used the fab MS doily punch,well thats everything hope you like what ive made using the sketch

Hi Everyone,
Just another quick post or dinner will be burnt lol,ive used another of the lily of the valley stamps and coloured it with distress inks love this stamp it such a cutie,flower paper is a download ive had for ages and cant remember were it from soz,ive also used my retro punches medium and large to make the flwers and ive used pink tulle,ms hearts border punch and ms doily punch on edge of flower petals mint green cardstock and pink cardstock are from my stash along with the flat back gems,thankyou for looking,and oh my candy arrived today so look out for it cuz as soon as i get the chance to take a pic of it i will have it on,this card is for simon says stamp challenge and dt call which this week was PUNH IT!!

simon says stamps

well heres my entry for the simon says DT team,this is the 1st time ive entered a DT call so im very nervous as there are alot of fabulous card markers out there which are an awful lot better than me,but a friend twisted my arm and made me promise to enter the theme was 'Shabby Chic' so this is what i came up with
stamp -belles and whistles coloured with distress inks
Papers - MME
MS deep edger punch
large and medium retro flower punches,distressed,stickled and layered up to make the flower with a gem button added to the centre,ribbon stitched with sewing machine just to give a little more detail and all the edges have been distressed with metal rular and stitched with sewing machine around the edges,rub-on is from my stash think it as afreebie in a magazine.....well thats it so really hope you like it,so i have my fingers tightley crossed as i would just LOVE to be on their DT

Really sorry for being AWOL this past few weeks but i have been busy with the kids and other things going on in my home life but hopefully after next week is over with i will be back and there will be no stopping me lol

cards made using my new sewing machine

Heres 2 cards made using my new sewing machine that i got for christmas,i love it,ive seen loads of crafters using them on their cards and just HAD to have 1 to try and i LOVE it lol im still not that great at sewing in a straight line as i havnt used a sewing machine since high school so if any of you have any tips i would really love to hear them....

my 1st card tilda is coloured with my usual distress inks (cant wait to get the new colours) lilac paper is K&Co and dont know what the other 1 is as it was in the bottom of my scrap box,all the other bits n pieces are from my stash

my next card is image by high hopes coloured with watercolours,stitched with my sewing machine,papers are MME and basic grey sentiment stamp is penny black,all the other bits are are from my stash
hope you like my attempts using my sewing machine lol and thankyou for looking....

Afternoon All,
Is everyone ready for santa coming yet? I'm STILL not sorted yet,dont even have a turkey yet lol i will get there tho eventually lol..
Heres another stamp ive had for a while now and havnt inked up yet,awful bad of me aint it!?!
I'm entering this card into this weeks Motivet challenge which is a fab sketch,love their stamps but im not very good at colouring animals but had a go,need more practice tho i think,ive coloured it with distress inks and papers are MME from their oh la la collection,plain cardstock is dovecraft,pearl pin is one of the lovely gifts sent to me by my good friend Mina,(thankyou so much,i love them) ive added a few other beads to it ,everything else from my stash,really missed using my stickles on this card lol

hope you like and thankyou all sooo much for looking,really sorry i havnt had the chance to comment on any of your stunning creations over the past few days but it has been all go here as you can imagine..i hope to get caught up in the new year

sorry bout the terrible photo,but its so dark here today...this card is for colour create which is lilac or purple,aqua,black and white,i must say it was a tough one but i gave it a shot lol

Just a quick post to let you all know that i wont be about for a few days AT LEAST,as my little 3yr old daughter Zara is going into hospital to get her tonsils and adnoids removed and also vents in her ears, so as you can imagine i wont have time to make any cards and i have LOADS to make still for christmas as with 4 kids i can only make them in the evenings and i aint the quickest card maker in the world lol.....I will keep yous updated on how she is..take care and be back soon

Just Magnolia

Evening Everyone,
Well heres my card for this weeks Just Magnolia,and as per usual im getting it in just in the nick of time lol
ive used another one of my new stamps,im so in love with these new christmas magnolias and dont seem to be able to colour anything else at the moment so i do apologise for it being all tidas and edwins lately,ive coloured her with distress inks and added stickles to her wings and halo,ive distress the background with antique linen and tea dye,papers are all MME and ive hand stitched around them all with brown embroidery thread (very time consuming),ive spritzed roses with pearl tattered angels glimmer mist and added stickles,added some beads to pins,lace,ribbon,brass brads are all from my stash,sentiment is magnolia and again i added some distress inks to it and i also have distressed around all the papaers with a metal ruler....hope you like as i really enjoyed making it and im actually quite pleased with how it has turned out even tho it did take me two days to make lol

WHAT AN AWFUL DAY it is in Northern Ireland today,had to take my little man to the doctors for his MMR injections,he was great bless him not even a tear,well decided afterwards i would go on into town and low and behold i got soaked threw....so im now home and dryed out and warm thank goodness.....well enough about me lol this is my entry into this weeks friday sketchers which is a fab sketch and 1 i will use again,i have used edwin and coloured him with distress inks,papers are MME and used twinklets on the image(love these!),a mix of snowflakes punched out of glitter board and the sentiment is from the MME pak also,hope you like it and thankyou for stopping by

Morning Everyone,Hope you are all having a nice day,todays card is for sketch saturday ,ive used a belles n whistles stamp called 'sisters',this is the 1st time ive used it and loved colouring it,i will have to start using all my un-inked stamps,the poor things need to be inked up lol ive coloured it with distress inks and papers are K&Co,MS frond branch punch,a mixture of different sized cream roses which i have used distress inks on them and stickles,pearl pins,green and cream lace,green ribbon and sentiment stamp i think is HOTP,thanks for looking and hopefully i will have another card on tomoz all going well..

today my card is for two challenges Friday Sketchers (sketch) and Just Magnolia (masking),ive used one of my new xmas tildas and masked her onto a bench which is from cc designs(coloured with distress inks),the background text is using a papermania stamp which i then covered with twinklets.papers are co-ordinations,xmas tree paper is MME and the blue glittery one is K&Co,tulle is from tabbycrafts,charm bunny zoes,snowflake is MS punch and then covered with twinklets and a card candy thingy in the centre lol,thankyou so much for looking and please leave me a comment to let me know you have been,hope you like my card today.

Sketch Saturday

Morning Everyone,

Hope you have all had a fab weekend,well mine was fantastic as my best friend gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on saturday morning at 6.45am and i was her birthing partner and it was amazing seeing her come into the world her name is Anya Emily and she weighed in at 8lb6ozs,so well done Denise and congratulations (will add photos later)...i also went to the craft show at the kings hall which was fab but i was very tired from being up all night at the hospital with denise,while at the craft show i was able to meet up with my good friend Mina which was brill.....

Just Magnolia monthly challenge - Distressing

Afternoon all,hope you are all enjoying your weekend,this week on Just Magnolia there is a tutorial by Christine Dark (sketching Stamper) which is fabulous,her work is amazing.....i dont do distressing but thought i would give it a go and i really enjoyed it BUT it took me HOURS as i hand stitched around the edges with embroidery thread,i just adore this new stamp from magnolia she is so cute and could be used not just for Christmas....i used my metal ruler to distress the edges of the paper and then went over them with antique linen distress ink and i also used distress inks to colour the image,papers are mme,i didnt have and ponsettias so just used primas instead and put a flat backed pearl in the centre,ribbon and lace are from my stash...then to finish off i added stickles around the edges thought this would make it look a little more chrismasy.....hope ihavnt went a little OTT but think im happy with the result..thankyou all for looking and hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend

Heres my entry into this weeks challenge at Mo's Digital,this week you had to make a card which wasnt a normal square card,so i had a go and made an easel card,must say it wasnt as hard as it looked and i really enjoyed making it,image is coloured with distress inks and papers are a download but cant remember were i got them from (ooopz soz),i also used a large paper rose wich i got from Tabbycrafts,MS frond branch,MS doily lace ,purple fabric flowers and ribbon from my stash,sentiment stamp is from hotp,hope you like my card and thankyou for visiting my blog,enjoy the rest of your day

Just Magnolia & Simon says Challenge Blog

Well look at me,posting 2 days in a row lol,hope you are all well,so this time my card is for Just Magnolia(which is a sketch)& Simon says challenge(sparkle),ive used distress inks to colour tilda and added some snow writer and glitter to her hat and gloves,papers are MME and blue co-ordinations cardstock,snowflakes embossing folder distressed with nail file,snowflakes are punched with twinklets put on them,i really love the effect the give and they are nice and chunky,brads,pearls,ribbons and sentiment are all from my stash.

Evening All,
Hope you are all keeping well,so here is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Mo,s challenge blog,i'm sooo hoping ive got it in on time and i have to apologise for the bad foto but i have just taken it and as you can imagine the light is awful so after about 20 pics this 1 is the best of the bunch lol
ive used mo's image called 'Patience' which just reminds me of my daughter and our kitten to a tee and i have made a pillow box door hanger which i got the template for on papercraft planet in the templates section, ive used a mix of MME and Basic Grey papers,MS doily punch,nesties oval and circle,distress inks to colour image and ribbon from my stash.....Hope you like it as i really enjoyed making it and i soo loved coloureing the image....

Hi Everyone,hope you have all had a fab day,and are getting loads of crafting done....here my entry for a spoonfull of sugar which this week is a fab sketch by Debbie,ive used my new kraftin' Kimmie stamp which i got from Quixotic Paperie,the image is coloured with distress inks and papers,flowers,ribbon and sentiment stamp are all from my stash and cant rembember what they are are were they from SOZ! ive used nesties ribbon tag and nestie labels die

Just Magnolia - Bright and Zingy

morning everyone,
Hope you are all well,heres my card for this weeks Just Magnolia which this week is Bright & Zingy,ive coloured tilda with distress inks i love this one with her ice-lolly makes me want the warm weather back instead of the rain lol this is the 1st i have stamped this image out as have loads of stamps at the moment that havent even been inked,a sin i know!!! lol i just kept buying and buying even tho i knew i was moving house and wouldnt be able to make anything but sure i will work my way through them lol papers are MME cant remember the name of it tho SORRY,used my oval nesties,punched out some flowers and added prima flowers and brads and used MS frond branch punchand also MS lace heart edger punch,sentiment stamp is from penny black and ribbons,brads and orange paper are from my stash...

Evening Everyone,

Well ive actually managed to get a challenge card uploaded before the deadline JUST lol
This one is for Just Magnolia which this week is a sketch by the super fabulous Mina,ive coloured the image with my usual distress inks which i would be lost without,and it was actually Mina that got me into using them and gave me a quick lesson while sitting outside the craft fair waiting on my lift home lol anyway ive used a mix of my minds eye and k&co papers which i adore at the moment,circle nesties.....snowflakes,ribbon,lace and flat backed pearls are all from my stash,i have also added a diecut with sentiment on it on top of the lace and ribbon,hope you like it as im happy with this one,thanks for looking,

my new baby!!!

heres the new addition to my family,BOSSCO,isnt he sooo cute,will have to try and get another pic of him awake as he has the most beautiful eyes,he is 9weeks old and we got him last night.......the children all love him but wont give him a moments peace so im hoping that after few days the excitment will have calmed and bossco can start to relax,bless him.....
any tips on how i can get him to eat as his last owners say he is very piccy and would only eat tuna and ham....he hasnt ate since we brought him home he has drunk his cat milk and thats it....dont really want to have to start and feed him tunna etc as at least with kitten food you know they are getting all the nutrients they need

so any help will be REALLY appreciated

heres my entry for a spoonfull of sugar and simon says stamps challenges which this week are both Halloween,so it gave me the excuse to go and buy one of the spooktackular tildas,so thats the stamp ive used and coloured her with distress inks all the papers are from magnolia also i cut out the BOO! freehand and made the flowers with punches from my stash and added a brad to the centres,ribbons are from my stash and the witches hat charm i got from bunny zoes online shop and i must say that the service is fantastic as anytime i have ordered, it has arrived the following day......which is great cuz i hate waiting lol......hope you like my card as i am actually pleased with this one for a change....

Whiff of Joy Challenge card

Hi Everyone,
Think ive actually got this card entered in time lol
this one is for Whiff of Joy challenge which is a fabulous sketch by Rach, and have to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY as its their 1st birthday..... for this card i have used henry mouse in ice skates(isnt he sooooo CUTE!)coloured with distress inks and ive added some stickles and again as my last card the ink has run,so if anyone has any tips on how to prevent this from happening please please let me know,papers are again from K&Co,snowflakes are punched and covered with ultra fine glitter by Kars,dentiment is papermania and ive used my oval nesties,hope you like!
